“Taking care of your skin is more important than covering it up”

  • Microneedling

Microneedling also known as collagen induction therapy. It is a cosmetic procedure which involves pricking the skin with very fine short sterilized needles. These small wounds cause your body to create more collagen and elastin, which heals your skin. You will notice a plumped, pink and luminous look for a couple of weeks. On a short-term basis, your skin looks radiant and younger. However, because the efficacy of microneedling comes from the skin healing itself, you may only see intense results after a few sessions. According to 2008 study, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart, produced up to a 400% increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing treatment.

  • Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a technique that gently scrapes the surface of your skin acting as a physical exfoliant by removing dead skin in addition to facial hair. Dead skin along with dirt and oil can clog pores which cause breakouts. The second benefit is hairless skin which stops your skin from trapping more dirt. Your skin will be cleaner after a dermaplaning facial which helps prevent future breakouts and allows facial products to penetrate more deeply into your skin. However, if you have an active breakout or suffer from severe acne, dermaplaning facial may not be the best option for you. Dermaplaning can also have some anti-aging effects as the removal of dead skin reduces the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. Overall, a good derma planing facial will give you a dewy silky smooth skin to the touch. Your makeup will glide on evenly and flawlessly.

  • Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion is an exfoliating technique that uses a slightly abrasive rotating instrument. First the skin is cleansed. Then the instrument uses a gentle pressure to spray crystals along the skin, and through gentle horizontal and vertical swipes of the handpiece, the crystals rub on the epidermal layer of the skin, exfoliating the dead skin cells off. The crystals are then gently wiped off the face with a brush or warm towel.

Dermobrasion can help brighten your skin temporarily. It can improve dark spots and fine lines. The results are very subtle and may require multiple treatments. The good news is that all skin types can benefit from dermabrasion.

  • Hydrafacial

Hydrafacial in principle is similar to a regular facial but can provide more dramatic results. It combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection that removes dead skin cells and impurities, while simultaneously delivering moisturizing serums into the skin. A vortex-like wand is used against your skin to help clear away dirt and oil from your pores followed by a peel to help exfoliate and resurface your skin and then moisturized with a serum that includes antioxidants.

Hydrafacial improves overall skin texture, tone, and appearance. Hydrafacials can be used on all skin types and will leave your skin feeling smoother and more radiant.
